MCD Coaching Program
Our Coaching Program is structured to assist artists who are just starting out professionally and need guidance with the fundamentals to starting their own freelance business. The program includes quality one-on-one coaching by phone, email and in person (depending on location); independent worksheets, dependable and specialized training on how to market and sell your illustration and design services, and personal consultation on topics such as setting up your business structure, creating long and short term goals, establishing new client relationships, pricing strategies, branding, portfolio review, advertising, working with creative briefs, and getting paid!
Your My Creative Diva Coach is someone who will keep you motivated and moving in the right direction when it comes to developing and marketing of your art.
MCD Consulting Services
Our Consulting Services are geared towards specific needs and challenges that you may be experiencing, no matter what stage you are at in your career. For example, some artists need help with knowing how to approach companies and ad agencies about freelance work. If you were to go ahead and take the initiative of contacting clients on your own, without knowing much about the client or how they prefer to be contacted, you may be spending more money and time on your mistakes. With a Creative Consultant at your side, you are able to hand all the pre-work such as researching and understanding “your target client” , to us. We will also help you select the best pieces in your portfolio to show.
Allowing My Creative Diva to help you with tasks such as the one mentioned above, gives you more creative freedom to work on what you enjoy best, creating compelling pieces to show clients.
MCD Lead Generation
My Creative Diva will create a targeted list of quality contacts based on the type of companies, advertising agencies, and publishers you wish to approach. We will do the preliminary research needed to ensure that the list of leads consists of contacts that are a good match for what your business can offer them. Once that list is created, we will make the cold-calls (an activity most artists dread to even think about doing themselves) with the intent to secure a “go-see” meeting for you or your sales rep to present.
MCD Social Media
My Creative Diva will set up or revise your profiles on Facebook, Twitter, and MySpace. MCD will also post articles submitted by you, along with update, find friends, approve friends, and conduct general maintenance of your social media accounts. You will also be kept appraised of important connections a facebook member wants to make with you and either respond on your behalf or leave it to you to make contact directly as you instruct.
MCD Wordpress Site Design and Implementation
We will set everything up for you and install the software to make your website run smoothly. We will also do a general customization of it (such as add your logo, set up pages, add general content such as your contact details, business description and upload photos. You will also receive a 1 hour orientation on how to perform updates to your blog, should you wish to maintain the website and update it yourself moving forward.
